Kenneth Hammond
Chief Investment Officer
Ken joined Kaltroco in August 2017 to establish investing capability in North America and to position the firm to pursue larger, more strategic investments. Ken has a highly successful investing track record from his previous work at CVC Capital Partners. He has deep experience in a variety of sectors including healthcare, distribution, consumer and retail. Ken graduated with an MBA from Stanford in 2010 as an Arjay Miller and Siebel Scholar, and from Yale in 2004 summa cum laude as a Phi Beta Kappa inductee.
Cornou Rykaart
Chief Financial Officer
Cornou joined Kaltroco in 2021, where he is responsible for overall financial management and reporting in addition to sourcing, evaluating and executing investments and portfolio company value creation support. Prior to joining Kaltroco, Cornou co-led a large conservation and eco-tourism business in South Africa. Cornou has consulting experience on projects across the agriculture, manufacturing, tourism and financial services sectors. Cornou holds BCom degrees in accounting and financial management from the University of Pretoria. Cornou is based in Cape Town, South Africa.
Troy Koltes
Principal, Director
Troy joined Kaltroco as a Principal in 2023, with a focus on value creation across Kaltroco’s international portfolio. Troy brings 10 years of experience as a strategy consultant, having left Bain & Company as a Senior Manager. During his time there, Troy focused on advanced manufacturing and was a member of the Enterprise Technology and Consumer Products practice groups. Troy holds an M.Sc. in Mathematics from ETH Zurich and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
Daniel Pilger
Associate
Daniel joined Kaltroco in June 2022. He focuses on identifying and assessing investment opportunities, financing and transaction execution, and portfolio company value creation support. Daniel has investing experience at HIG Capital and has M&A advisory experience at PWC. Daniel has an MSc in Accounting from University of Colorado and is a licensed public accountant in California.
Steve Koltes
Director
Steve Koltes is Co-Founder and former Co-Chair of global private equity and investment advisory firm CVC. Steve stepped back from operational roles at CVC in 2022 after 34 successful years at the forefront of the company. He remains on CVC’s Board in a non-executive capacity. Steve helmed CVC in the German-speaking region until 2008, when he stepped down from the role to dedicate more time to the firm’s global executive bodies. Prior to CVC, Steve spent eight years at Citibank in corporate finance in New York, Zurich and London. In his capacity at Kaltroco, Steve serves on the boards of Frontiers Media, Inait, CFeed, Thesify and Original Beans. Steve holds a BA degree from Middlebury College in Vermont.
Jean McNutt
Managing Director
Jean joined Kaltroco in 2014 and is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the business, Compliance, governance and oversight. Jean is a member of the Kaltroco board, Compliance Committee and chairs the Investment Committee. Before joining Kaltroco, Jean was Vice President and co-head of State Street Jersey AIS Private Equity Operations and led an administration team servicing one of the world’s leading private equity and investment advisory firms. Jean is a Chartered Member of CISI, TEP and holds an MBA (Distinction) from Middlesex University, London.
Carl Hansen
Director
Carl is a Managing Director and Co-head of Jersey at investment advisory firm CVC. Carl is based in CVC’s Jersey office and has been a director of CVC entities, including general partners, since 2006. Prior to joining CVC, he was with both Mourant and State Street in Jersey where he headed the PE team. Carl is qualified as a South African and New Zealand Lawyer and has a BA and LLB from the University of Natal, Durban and an MBA from Victoria University, New Zealand.
Jacqueline Richomme
Director
Jacqueline is a solicitor with over 30 years’ experience in investment funds and capital market structures. She was a partner of Mourant Ozannes for over 25 years and continues to work as a consultant to Mourant alongside her work as an independent director with Altair. Jacqueline also served as Chairman of Mourant Governance Services (Jersey) Limited, a regulated trust company business, from 2014 until the end of 2020. From 2001 to 2010 Jacqueline served as a Commissioner of the Jersey Financial Services Commission.
John Maxey
Director
John Maxey is a Partner at CVC Capital Partner, where he is Global Co-head of Operations based in Jersey. Prior to joining CVC, John was a partner in Deloitte LLP and a member of their board. He is one of the longest-standing members of the private equity advisory community in London and has advised many large PE firms on their structuring, as well as on portfolio company acquisitions and exits.
Sophie Kent
Chief Accountant
Sophie Kent joined Kaltroco in 2023 and is responsible for overseeing the group’s financial operations, including financial reporting, budgeting and ensuring compliance with reporting and regulatory standards. Sophie brings a wealth of experience from her roles in family offices and as a financial controller leading finance teams within corporate service providers. Sophie is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and holds a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics for Finance and Management from Portsmouth University.
Kenny Nickens

Kenny joined Kaltroco in 2024, where he is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and executing investments as well as portfolio company value creation support. Prior to joining Kaltroco, Kenny was a Vice President at Comvest Partners, where he specialized within the services sectors. Early in his career, he worked at Guggenheim Partners in the Special Situations Investment Banking Group, focused on M&A, financing, and restructuring transactions. Kenny received an M.B.A., with honors, from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. in Economics, cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania.
Rhett McCraw
Managing Director
Rhett joined Kaltroco in 2024, where he is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and executing investments as well as portfolio company value creation support. Prior to joining Kaltroco, Rhett spent the last decade leading the investment efforts for a separate family-backed private equity vehicle based in South Carolina, where he focused across consumer, business services, and distribution end markets. Prior to entering the private equity industry, he worked at ExxonMobil across a variety of leadership roles in operations, finance, and M&A. Rhett began his career as an engineer working in operations for Clark Construction. Rhett received an International M.B.A. from the Moore School at the University of South Carolina and a B.S. in Physics-Engineering from Washington & Lee University.
Anna McMahon
Executive Administrator
Anna joined Kaltroco in September 2024 as an Executive Administrator, bringing over two decades of experience in high-level support roles. Before Kaltroco, Anna spent 10 years at CVC Capital Partners, where she worked closely with the co-founders and the Global Head of Operations as a Personal Assistant and also managed office operations and various projects. Prior to that, Anna spent 11 years at Mourant, a leading law firm in Jersey as a Senior Assistant.
Rolly van Rappard
Director
Rolly van Rappard is Co-Founder and Co-Chair of global investment advisory firm CVC. Prior to joining CVC in 1989, Rolly worked for Citicorp in corporate finance. Rolly holds an MA degree in Economics from Columbia University, New York, and an LLM from the University of Utrecht, Netherlands.
Daniel Osheroff

Daniel joined Kaltroco in 2025, where he is a member of the investment team. Prior to joining Kaltroco, Daniel began his career in investment banking at Bank of America, where he was a member of the Healthcare coverage group focusing in the Life Sciences/Biotech subsector. Daniel earned a B.A. in Economics, Spanish, and Tuba Performance from Vanderbilt University.
Maris Murphy
Business Development Coordinator
Maris joined Kaltroco in 2025 as the Business Development Coordinator. In this role, she leads outreach and marketing initiatives, supporting growth across partner relationships for U.S. investment operations. Prior to Kaltroco, she managed operations and marketing at real estate investment firms across multiple states. Maris holds a B.S. in Biology from Lipscomb University.
